A ver...I know, it's a big YIKES! to hear this. A very wise writing teacher of mine once told me to ignore the future of my project, and just focus on the writing. When it was time to learn about publishing, I could do it then. But for now, just try to write the best book I could. I took it to heart. You mean I have to do all that on my own!? O...What? You mean I have to do all that on my own!? Okay, so maybe I've heard that before, but I blocked it out of my memory. I mean, what could be more terrifying than giving interviews (or trying to get people to interview you in the first place) and hawking your own book-signing. Even finishing my novel isn't as scary as that! Am I the only one shaking in my boots? How do I get over it, Mary?Amandanoreply@blogger.com
