I think its great, easy read, interesting enough to pull me along till the very end. Bravo.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Very glad you liked it.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for your book to come out! I attended a workshop of yours at the Loft last year, and have been watching for your book ever since. Just read your chapter, and again I feel you bring something new to the genre of books about writing - an understanding of how our brains work, and because of your background as a visual artist, your innovative idea of using images (i.e. collaging our book) to inspire and focus us. And your common-sense approach to organization.
ReplyDeleteGail,
ReplyDeleteThank you for this well timed comment, on a day when I've been struggling with my writing and needed to hear it was all worthwhile!
So glad the Loft class helped you.
Mary
Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteI've been really behind on my reading and I would love to read the chapter-in-progress, but when I click on the link, it doesn't show up. Is there any way I can still view it? Although I have no doubt that it is going to be a great book and I'm ready to order it now!
HI Lynn,
ReplyDeleteTry this link: http://www.loft.org/for-writers/a-view-from-the-loft
It may work better!
Otherwise, just go to www.loft.org and visit the View from the Loft. My article is there.
Thanks for reading the blog--and I'll keep you posted on when the book will be out.
Mary
The article (chapter-in-progress) was great and I want the book now :-) I agree with Gail, she said it better than I could. Keep me posted!
ReplyDeleteI'll hurry and finish editing it! :-)
